Visit the storks
Each year the white stork delights Bad Blumau with its visit. A symbol of good fortune since time immemorial, it lives in Austria as a migratory bird from around April to September. This is when the pair of storks raises its brood in a nest on a chimney next to the parish church. The Austrian League for Nature Conversation has purchased part of a field to the south of Bad Blumau as a feeding area for the storks.
