Rogner Bad Blumau teams up with the WWF

Since May 2008 the Rogner Bad Blumau and the WWF (World Wildlife Fund for Nature) have a new cooperation: for each overnight stay, € 0,60 will be directed towards a WWF project to save the Amazon rainforest. With a yearly occupancy of about 80,000 overnights, Rogner Bad Blumau will be able to protect an area of 40,000 hectares

Since the opening 11 years ago, Rogner Bad Blumau always orientates on the philosophy of Friedensreich Hundertwasser: "A live in harmony with nature".

The hot water from the Vulkania hot spring in combination with the in-house geothermical facility supplies the hotel and spa with heat and electricity. With this "green energy" Rogner Bad Blumau saves 4 million kg carbon dioxide (CO₂) every year. That has the same effect on our climate as 2.700 cars less on our streets every year.
